In our Wine-and Coffeehouse KLEINHUIS we actually keep up the tradition of the Hamburg coffeehouses and combine this with our specialities: Wine and Today's cuisine, consiting of regional and seasional products from Northern Germany.
Coffeehouses used to be a forum for political discussion and social issues, and the KLEINHUIS with it's high ceilings, spacious rooms and the open fireplace is the very location for a friendly chat on a lazy afternoon. Not only coffee specialitiesby the Burg Coffee Roasters are served, but a variety of fresh cake an tarte is offered, too.
But - believe it or not - even in the food you will come upon coffee again: our chef and his team created a choice of dishes with coffee flavours, and the German School for Wine and Sommeliers advised us with a range of wines and ports to go with the food.
